Feast on the Piece
It was an honour to be invited to Cambridge’s historic Feast on the Piece!
On Sunday 7 May, people came together on Parker’s Piece for a community feast to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, enjoying delicious food, meeting wonderful people, and soaking up the beautiful Cambridge sunshine.
In 1838, for the Coronation of Queen Victoria, the city of Cambridge held the biggest party in the kingdom, “The Feast on the Piece”, a banquet and concert for 15,000 people. That community spirit was recreated for the Coronation of her great-great-great-grandson, King Charles III.
Thank you so much for having us!
