We wish a very happy Eid al-Fitr to everyone in Cambridge and around the world.

In this year’s Eid al-Fitr message, our Director of Communications Ibrahim Rahman summarises how Eid is typically celebrated in Cambridge, including a mention of this year’s Cambridge Ramadan Appeal.

“Our focus was to raise vital funds to provide essential food support to refugees and asylum seekers who are living in and around the city of Cambridge,” Ibrahim said. “And many of you responded with such kindness and generosity, helping us to collectively raise a wonderful total of over £1,400. Thank you again to all of you for continuing to support our efforts to help those in need.”
