A Message of Support from Eddie Stadnik

Thank you to Eddie Stadnik from the Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum (CECF) for supporting this year’s Cambridge Ramadan Appeal.
“The Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum has been expanding its partnerships to better support local ethnic minority residents affected by the rising cost of living,” said Eddie Stadnik, Chief Executive Officer of CECF.
“The cost of living crisis continues to disproportionally impact those struggling to afford the basic necessities and household energy.
“We’ve been working with the Karim Foundation for the last four years in getting culturally appropriate food to some of the most vulnerable members of our society, including asylum seekers and refugees.
“The Karim Foundation has been one of our main partners in reaching out and giving vital help to the destitute, and some of the most economically deprived communities in Cambridge. We have also worked with them in influencing organisational policy.
“We’re supporting the Cambridge Ramadan Appeal because the Karim Foundation is unique in being able to support our most needy residents with culturally appropriate food, in addition to other assistance.
“Every family should be able to cook a hot meal, no child should be in poverty, and no person should go hungry – yet these are daily realities for many in Cambridge.
“Your donations will help the Karim Foundation to both tackle the immediate need and be a voice for change.
“Please give whatever you can, thank you.”
