The Karim Foundation is opening a soup kitchen at the Meadows Community Centre.

Come and enjoy a free hot cup of soup with a bread roll, as our North Cambridge Soup Kitchen runs for the first time on Sunday 17 September from 11.30am – 1.30pm.

Cambridge convenience store Al-Amin is supporting the scheme by providing freshly-cooked soup directly from their kitchens.

“We’re very pleased to be working with Al-Amin Stores as we launch our soup kitchen in the north of the city,” said Trustee Shahida Rahman. “This will be a friendly space for anyone in need of a hot meal, good company, reassurance and support. Everyone is welcome and we are here to help.”

The North Cambridge Soup Kitchen will continue to operate on the third Sunday of every month.
