Delicious food, meaningful conversations and uplifting tunes were the key ingredients for today’s North Cambridge Soup Kitchen.

As we served hot soup, bread rolls and mini chocolate cakes, everyone was treated to some live music from talented Northamptonshire student Joshua Hunter. Thank you for your wonderful performances!

A huge thank you to young volunteers Charles and Matthew, who also came all the way from Northamptonshire to support our soup kitchen. We’re so grateful for your efforts.

With winter just around the corner, our aim is to continue offering hot meals in a safe, warm and inviting space for all – especially for those who need it the most.

The North Cambridge Soup Kitchen will run every third Sunday of the month from 11.30am – 1.30pm, and will be open on the following dates:

  • 19 November 2023
  • 17 December 2023
  • 21 January 2024
  • 18 February 2024
  • 17 March 2024

Many thanks to Al-Amin and Masjid Al Ikhlas and Cambridge Islamic Centre for providing the soup for this month’s North Cambridge Soup Kitchen, and also to all the staff at the Meadows Community Centre for their continued support.
