The Karim Foundation recently made a large food donation to the Trumpington Food Hub in south Cambridge.

Thanks to your wonderful donations throughout 2023, this helped us to buy many essential food items for local residents in need such as basmati rice, pasta, tinned vegetables and soup.

The food hub, supported by Cambridge Sustainable Food, runs every Friday from 12-2pm at Trumpington Pavilion, providing a wide range of foods including donated fruit, vegetables, bread and much more.

“We would like to thank the Karim Foundation for their thoughtful and generous donations to the Trumpington Food Hub,” said Smita Botre, Food Hub Coordinator for Trumpington.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all on behalf of our volunteers and service users for supporting us – particularly during this winter period.”

The Karim Foundation continues its efforts to provide food and fuel support for Cambridge families and individuals in financial difficulty. Visit the Donate page to find out how you can help those in need today.
